Here are three simple steps to make money on twitter.
1) Follow people who could be interested in your products or services. I suggest follow 1000 weekly and then use something called TwitFresh, Google it, which will delete all the people who are not following you back
2) Tweet few times a day giving some content and replying to people's tweet, this way you'll gain trust from your followers or (customers)
3) Tweet with your link to your products or services website once every 3 days, spamming will not be tolerated on twitter.

#1 - make sure you set the number of ads to a low display frequency.
#2 - don't set auto approve ads. Manually review all of the ads.
#2 - only choose ads to your twitter profile that you might normally tweet about.
Remember consistency is the key, do this every day and you will see results. May I also stress , do not spam, and just hit people in the face with your products and services, let them find out fro themselves after you have built a relationship with them.
