Consulting Firms - A Mathematical Reason You Need Social Networking

There is a mathematical formula to business success that every consulting firm should know. Therefore, if the math supports a need for an action than there should be no reason for not using the best technology to support that action, right?

Well, here's the math....

Clients = Leads + Relationship + (Conversion) Products/Programs

Let me explain, to succeed in business you need clients and in order to acquire them you need leads. In order to develop leads you need to massage relationships and in order to convert leads to clients you need some sort of product or program. Makes sense to me how about you?

Now if we used article marketing to fulfill our lead generation and have a product to sell how would you develop a relationship with hundreds of people around the world?

Yes there is email, but in today's fast paced and high technology driven business world, there is one mass media method that fills our relationship building need better than any other, Social Networking.

Now there are several services that can help us do just that, Twitter, Face book, Linked in, and a hundred others. Now let's look at how to build friends whom know, like and trust us enough to convert into a client.

Begin with sending emails to your leads that invite them to follow you on your Twitter and Face book account. In your email, offer to help them in any way you can, although it is very simple to do for themselves offer to be helpful. Next, begin to post messages to the leads that are following you, ask them questions. Tell them what you're working on; you only need to spend about 15 to 30 minutes a day keeping in touch.
